Renting a car in North Cyprus — your questions
Is it safe to rent a car in North Cyprus?
Yes. North Cyprus is one of the safest destinations in the Mediterranean, and renting from an established local company means full insurance, a maintained fleet and real roadside support. We have operated from Kyrenia since 2012.
Do I need a deposit?
No deposit and no credit-card block. You pay on delivery — by card or cash — and full insurance is included in the price.
Can I pick up at Ercan Airport?
Yes — Ercan Airport (ECN) delivery and collection are free, 24/7. We meet you at arrivals with the keys: no counter queue, no shuttle. Larnaca Airport (LCA) pickup is also available for a small fee.
Can I drive to South Cyprus?
Rental cars registered in North Cyprus cannot be insured for the Republic of Cyprus, so crossing the border with our vehicles is not permitted. If you land in Larnaca, we can deliver your car to the border or to Larnaca Airport instead.
Which driving licence do I need?
A valid national licence from the UK, EU, Turkey, Russia and most other countries is accepted — no International Driving Permit needed for stays under 90 days. North Cyprus drives on the left, like the UK.
What is included in the price?
Every price includes full insurance, unlimited mileage, free Ercan delivery, a second driver, and 24/7 WhatsApp support in English, Turkish and Russian. No hidden fees at handover.
What is the minimum driver age?
Drivers must be at least 21 and have held a licence for one year. No young-driver surcharge on our economy and compact cars.
Do you deliver to hotels?
Yes — free delivery to resort hotels in Kyrenia, Famagusta and İskele. We meet you in the lobby with the keys.
